Japan's Ghost Island
Here’s a collection of pretty fantastic photos of Hashima Island, Japan. It used to be a coal mining community until petroleum became the more sought after resource. By 1974 the entire island was completely abandoned. It has a fascinating history which is complimented quite well by this set of haunting photos.
